Mom Confessions

Confession Time!  These may not be my best mom moments, but they are what they are:
Walking Stella in a Rapunzel night gown
My daughters spend wayyy too much time in their pajamas.  But honestly, nightgowns are so fancy these days, it's almost a crime not to wear them all the time.  Pretty+comfy=best of both worlds.  And it's so much easier changing a baby's diaper when there's only a zipper between you and the load.

We will eat cereal for dinner.  Sometimes after a long day, it's all I have patience for.  Also, we just love cereal.

No matter how hard I try, Brielana's high chair never seems to get clean.  Might have something to do with this:

My 10 month old eats better than my 4 year old (see above) but she will eat carrots and frozen peas.  So you bet I give those to her almost daily.  Other wise it's mac n cheese or chicken nuggets all the live long day.

When I'm really desperate for a nap, I'll get Kinsey to "cuddle with me" in my bed.  Invariable she falls asleep with me and I get my cat nap and then get to be productive with both babes out.  I only pull this card like once or twice a month because I don't like pushing my luck.  I tell you, Kinsey can smell a "nap" coming a mile away ;)

I'm a sugar junkie but don't like to share so this leaves me secretly eating sweets throughout the day.  From the pocket of my hoodie.  I shudder to think what else I'm actually ingesting from that pocket...

And there you have it!  What are your "momfessionals"?!

  3. I feel like the second I clean the high chair tray, it's already time for another meal (therefore, another mess!). My son's highchair actually has a tray AND a snap-in tray on top of that. If I am not in the mood to clean, I let him eat on the snap-in tray for lunch and then the base tray for dinner. That way I clean both trays at the same time after dinner. Haha. It's the little things :)

    1. Oh my gosh, I totally employ the double tray tactic too! Plus I pretty much loathe doing dishes so that cuts down on that chore, too ;)

  5. lol at the sweet snacks from your pocket! I don't like sharing either. Aria ate way better when she first started eating. I'm looking forward to when she stops being a toddler and will eat lots of things...hopefully!

  6. Baha ha! I am SO the same way with sweets. I am pretty sure I ate a piece of fuzz stuck to some candy the other day too :). Jammies for the win. We wear them A LOT too. I once power washed a high chair.... it just seemed like the only thing I could do to actually get it clean

Love this post. Have a great day friend.
