Summer Reading Challenge Pt 1

Sweet Turtle Soup

I am super excited to join this Summer Reading Challenge!  We are big book worms over here so any way to stay accountable while doing fun projects and linking up with friends can't be beat!

Our first Library haul of the Summer found us with these titles:

Olivia Goes to Venice by Ian Falconer
Mother Mother by Remy Charlip
Eating the Alphabet by Lois Elhert
A Butterfly is Patient by Dianna Hutts Aston
The Wide-Mouthed Frog by Keith Faulkner
An Egg is An Egg by Nikki Weiss
Across America, I Love You by Christine Loomis
Norman Rockwell You're a Grand Old Flag Lyrics by George M. Cohan

That satisfied some of these themes:

Buuut we totally slacked on doing projects, so that will be our goal for next time!  Here's an old one just for fun:

Can't wait to see what everyone else is reading and get some new book suggestions!

Linking up with Courtney, Liz and Stephanie.

  2. I keep hearing about Dragons Love Tacos. I thought it was one of those books that looked cute from the cover but probably sucked in content. Apparently that is not the case, so I need to get this book onto our bookshelf ASAP! (And, plus, tacos!)
