The Man behind the Beard: September

Another round of The Man behind the Blog, because last month's was too funny not to follow up ;)

1) What's the silliest thing you and your significant other have needed to compromise on?
Brian: shrugs shoulders, "I don't know?"
To be honest, I don't have an answer to this one either, shrugs shoulders ;)

2)If you were stranded on a deserted island, what 3 must haves would you bring with you?
Brian: Um, Stella
Me: The Look
Brian: Who else is going to bark and protect me from wild animals? Coconuts-
Me: Wait, why would you bring coconuts to a an island that probably already has coconuts?!
Brian: Ok, a machete and a fire starting kit.
Me: You're taking this way too literally.

3) Talents aside, what is your dream job?
Brian: I don't know, uh staying at home like Gumball's dad. (If you haven't watched The Amazing World of Gumball on Cartoon Network, it is hilarious.  But possibly a tad inappropriate for children.)  Ok dream job a Brewer or a Pastor.

4) What are three things on your bucket list?
Brian: Nothing, nothing and nothing.  I don't know, uhh, getting a house.  Go to Europe and watch a Tottenham soccer game.

5) What kind of date is your favorite to go on with your significant other? (Romantic, fun,
 spontaneous, etc.)
Brian: We don't go on dates because we have children. Uh, going out to dinner.

And that ends this months Man behind the Beard!

  3. Hahahaha!!
But seriously. We don't go on dates either.
And when he says he would want to be a Brewer, does he mean someone who brews beer, or a Brewer baseball player?

  6. HAHAH!!! I said the same thing about #1. But Seth managed to come up with something :) lol You'll see tomorrow.
And the we don't go on dates, we have kids is pretty true. Do you have family or anything near by that can watch them? Surprise him with a date and then see what he says :)

  7. Too funny, I love these! His answer to the bucket list reminds me of when I was asked in a job interview my personal five year goal and I said, "Buying a house." And then they asked my ten year goal and I said, "Uhh, still owning the house." Needless to say they did not call me back lol, but obviously I'm not the only one who thinks that way! :)

  8. James and Connor watch Gumball together. Connor asks for it. I may not be Mom of the Year but it keeps him quiet and in one spot for 30+ minutes so I indulge.
