Whitney Wears // Mustard cardigan love

A new #MomStyle Remix and today I'm featuring my favorite cardigan! Cardigans are pretty much the only "outerwear" I don in Central California so to say I have a collection is not an understatement but choosing a favorite is easy; my mustard cardigan, hands down. (This cozy knit is from Target but I can't find it online, sorry!) Mustard is also one of my favorite colors and I'm so glad it's having "a moment". Here are my three favorite ways to wear it! Affiliate links used. A small commission may be received if you purchase an item through my links. Thank you for supporting my blog!
How to wear a mustard cardigan
This is my interpretation of "denim on denim" because there is no way I would be able to do two different shades of denim in one outfit and not look like a dork. Also, it takes me back to high school when the denim "tuxedo" look was in and yes, I totally rocked that ;)
chambray top with mustard cardigan
chambray top (similar), Old Navy//gray skinnies (similar), Old Navy// leopard sneakers, Target
This is my favorite everyday look- jeans, a tee and cardi, and cozy shoes.
gray stripes with mustard cardigan
gray stripe tee (similar), Gap//Rockstar skinnies, Old Navy//Kilty moccasins, Minnetonka
And this is my eclectic look. The magenta and mustard are complimentary colors so they pop against each other and the ruffles are just a fun detail.
floral and mustard cardigan

Those are my three looks featuring my favorite mustard cardigan! Do you have a favorite cardigan? (How many times am I going to write the word "cardigan"?!)

  5. So cute! You now have me convinced that I need some mustard colored items in my wardrobe. I am thinking a cardi or some jeans for sure.

  6. hehe, how many times are you going to write the word cardigan. Funny someone else mentioned this week having a ton of cardigans and while outer wear takes up a bunch of closet space I find myself not wearing them as often as I would like. I love that purple shirt and the fact that it's a kids size, winning :)

  8. Your looks are so cute! I never thought mustard could go with so many options! I personally struggle wearing a cardigan over a button down cause I always feel bulky in it, but you make it look great!

  11. I love all your outfits! I normally stay away from mustard because it's bright and I'm boring, but I LOVE it on you! You've inspired me. O especially love how you paired the chambray with the cardigan and rolled up the slevees. I always see people do that and think it looks so cute!

  14. Oh LOVE! I bought a mustard cardigan last fall and got a ton of wear out of it. But, you've just given me so many more ideas on how to pair it. Thank you! I love all of your outfits!!

  15. I love them all! I need a new cardigan. I wish I could wear jeans more often. I'd wear them all day everyday if I didn't melt. I practically did when we lived in CO.
