I'm taking a little break recapping The Best Week Ever to join Andrea and Erika to share my favorite Pins for Show and Tell Tuesday.
Next to Instagram, Pinterest is my favorite social media site. The visuals are inspiring, the vastness of the information found on there is awesome and all the choices in a single search makes it fun!
I usually search for food recipes, preschool activities and outfit formulas, in that order:
Recipes:
slow cooker chili//herbed potatoes//creamy garlic pasta//asparagus pasta//portobello pizza//asparagus tart//smore's bars
So sue me for all the carby, pasta goodness but at least there's a handful of vegetable sides to balance them out. And the best dessert bar ever!
Preschool Activities:
pom pom activities//letter practice//play dough mats//rain art//foam dough//foil painting//color experiment
These preschool activities have all been tested and approved! Probably my favorite of all time is the highlighter letter practice, I use that for students and Kinsey!
Clothes:
mustard scarf//mustard cardigan//plaid and polka dots//layers//burgundy and leopard//plaid//sweater over dress
And as you can see I have an affinity for the color mustard, stripes, polka dots, plaid and leopard prints and scarves. If I'm not anything at least I'm consistent ;) And here are a few of them in real life:
Let's follow each other on Pinterest!

Great pins! I think Pinterest is one of the best "inventions" ever. I love finding craft and learning activities for Cam and recipes.
ReplyDeleteI love pinning the same kinds of things! Will definitely have to try the letter highlighting!
ReplyDeleteGreat pins. and I totally misread the Show and Tell, I thought we were supposed to do one of the pins! Oops, oh well, at least I finished a project I've been wanting to do for a while :)
ReplyDeleteSuch great pins! I just adore Pinterest. Well, I kinda hate it too... but, you know.

ReplyDelete"mustard, stripes, polka dots, plaid and leopard prints and scarves" - swoon!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a fun post, but I don't even think I could pick my favorites with close to 4,000 pins! I sure love the idea though!
ReplyDeleteYay! I love love love Pinterest. I have a very unhealthy obsession with it, actually! :) I've had to take Pinterest breaks occasionally because I get so overwhelmed with making ALL THE STUFF and eating ALL THE FOOD!!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Pinterest. And now I feel like I have to do the highlighter letters!!
ReplyDeleteI had to step away from Pinterest for a while because it was such a time suck! I'm back, though, and have so many projects planned!
ReplyDeleteI am following you on Pinterest!!
ReplyDeleteGreat pins!!! I have a love/hate relationship with Pinterest. I love to use it but hate that hours go by in the blink of an eye! Oops!
ReplyDeleteI'm sold on that asparagus tart and s'more bars. GET IN MY BELLY.
ReplyDeleteThat plant color experiment looks fun! We did something like that once in grade school, but with celery. We cut celery and place it in different color water. It was so neat to see the celery stalks take on the hues of the water!
Pinterest is my jam! What did we do before Pinterest, seriously? It's a time suck for sure, but in a good way. These are great pins!
