Announcing Simplifying the Season link up

When Justine sent me an email about her vision for Simplifying the Season I couldn't have agreed more wholeheartedly or with more enthusiasm! I love the purpose of this link up and know it will ring true with many of you, too. My most favorite things about this time of year are my family, faith and good food (haha) so this truly encompasses what the holidays are all about.
Whenever you would like during the series (11/21-12/26) write your own blog post inspired by #simplifyingtheseason. You could write a lifestyle piece about family holiday memories, whip up a family recipe, share tips about how you have simplified gift giving, reveal your favorite hack for keeping entertaining during the holidays simple... anything that can be tied back to the idea of simplifying and focusing on either family, traditions, or Christ. Then be sure to link up your post on December 26th!
I know this will be a wonderful link up and hope you will join Justine in Simplifying the Season!

  1. Love this! Drew and I talked last year about simplifying a bit because we realized just how blessed our children are and the amount of gifts and love they were getting. We started doing the 5 gift rule to simplify a bit and the kids didn't notice anything different. A bunch of goodies still come into our house. I want them to understand that Christmas is about family and being together vs getting things. Spreading kindness is just as important. I'll definitely be linking up. :)
