We had such a great time in Branson last week! The last time Brian and I went was in 2008 before we were even married and we only went into Silver Dollar City. This visit was extra special since we went as a complete family of six!
One of the highlights of our family vacation was the Hollywood Wax Museum. **Don't forget to check out my post Special passes to Hollywood Wax Museum to get discounted tickets!** Located on the infamous Strip and surrounded by extraordinary buildings, the Hollywood Wax Museum holds it own, it's the only building with a giant gorilla on top!
Here are our highlights from our time inside:
Pure fun. I haven't seen Brian have so much fun in a long time, he was laughing and smiling the whole time! I think he had the best time out of all of us. I mean, just look at this, he purposely wore his MJ shirt for this moment!
Uncanny likeness. These wax figures look extremely lifelike. I'd say 98% of them are completely spot on. And that scant 2% came down to something trivial like hair color being slightly off (and since that's my own opinion, it could be completely subjective, haha.)
A mix of old & new. Or should I say classic and popular? Any way, I digress. The variety of stars across television, movies, musical genres and eras was great!
Interactive. Not only were we encouraged to take as many pictures as we'd like but the majority of the statues also had props to enhance the experience and pictures. The kids loved it! There was also a fun mini arcade game that we all enjoyed.
Souvenir photo op. What can I say? I'm a sucker for posed photo ops and this was a good one! It puts a smile on my face just thinking about it and makes me lol every time I look at them!
If you're heading to Branson and want a family-friendly outing, add the Hollywood Wax Museum to your itinerary!
