My favorite Podcasts for Moms // Listen
I only recently got into podcasts late last year and seriously wonder what the heck I was doing during my driving commutes without them! I get so much enjoyment and entertainment from listening to these lovely ladies that it almost makes me want to drive around town more (so kidding.) Here are my favorite podcasts for mamas by mamas.

Tiny Letters 1.18
I’m weeks late to Kristin’s link up (seems to be a blog trend this month, my bad!) but I’m sharing away any way!
Dear goals,
Lets stick together this year, okay?
Welcome! Stay awhile, please.
Dear Kinsey,
You make me so proud. Your love and care for Clark, your (mostly) goodwill toward Bea and sharing your toys; you're coming into your own as a big sister. Also, your reading is blowing me away! I can’t believe you’ll be turning seven in a few short weeks, sob.
Thank you for pitting up with me during this diet. I know I've been wacky-doodle and hard to put up with so I appreciate you giving me love and support anyway.
Dear Whole30,
Three weeks in and I’m not completely hating life. Being mindful of what I put into my mouth instead of whatever was on hand is a huge switch for me but one that was much needed. I’ll have a full report at the end of the month!
You are one funny kid. Between your speech intonations and pronunciations to your cute little voice, you've got everyone here wrapped around your little finger.
Dear Clark,
Stop growing so fast. I’m really trying to savor these baby days and you're not cooperating. But seriously, you are such a blessed addition to our family, we love you.
Oh how I've missed you! Being able to fit comfortably into my clothes postpartum has opened up a world of possibilities. I'm actually taking more time to get dressed in the morning because I have so many great mix and match options. It really is the little things in life.
Dear hair,
We’re at a strange place in our relationship, you're falling out on me left and right and I just don't know what to do with you. I think a new hair cut is in order (which seems a bit ironic seeing as I'm losing so much of it on the daily!) but I just don't know what style? Any suggestions?

That Book Life // Reading Plans for 2018
2017 Goodreads Reading Challenge | 18 books
Books actually read | 35
2018 Goodreads Reading Challenge | 30
Books read in January | 3
I strongly believe reading is good for the soul. It is something I have always loved to do and making time to read in my daily life is essential to staying true to myself. I don't make lofty goals, since my season in life right now is all things baby, but keeping myself accountable makes me happy (Type A through-and-through.) A small commission may be received if you purchase an item through my links. Thank you for supporting my blog!
Here are a few titles that I have currently residing on my bedside table ready to be called into action. Thank goodness I have fellow bookworm friends, a Free Little Library right next door and my local library about five minutes down the street to keep me supplied at all times.
Loving Frank: A Novel | Running with Scissors: A Memoir| The Mothers: A Novel | The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks | Pigs in Heaven: A Novel | The Sinner | Manhattan Beach
The reading lives of other people fascinates me! So tell me, what books are you reading this year? Do you have a goal?

Currently 001 // January
As this is a fresh new year I'm feeling ready to give this little ole blog of mine some more attention and be intentional with my content so here is where I'm at this month! Joining Anne for her Currently link up.
Starting |
I have so many balls in the air right now that I'm either really killing it or am about to be crushed. I'm praying it's the former. I’m just starting my second week of doing a Whole30 reset and also doing the Declutter like a Mother challenge. As I shared last week I'm trying my best to embrace this year!
Hoping |
I have high hopes that this year will be one of fruitful change. I'm not usually one who does well with change but something in me is just going with it, and that is making it that more exciting!
Scheduling |
All the things. Putting pen to paper helps me keep on track so I've been updating our Family calendar, getting my blog calendar in order (though I will admit I'm a tad behind as this post is proof, haha) and keeping those Well Baby check-ups on schedule.
Reading |
The 6th installment of this series, Tower of Dawn and my fantasy-loving heart is beside itself. I'll be sharing more of my Reading Plans for 2018 later this month!
Playing |
Does Peek-a-boo and Patty-cake count? ;)

Growing up Clark // four month edit
Weight | 16.14 78th%
Length | 25.25 58th%
We hit that dreaded sleep regression. For two weeks there was extra night waking nursing sessions which left me useless and exhausted. I'm chalking it up to a growth spurt/milestone achievement as he is also thisclose to rolling over from back to tummy.
Clark’s hair is growing in! Long gone is the receding hairline, old man comb over. His hair may be getting lighter too. If his eyebrows are any indication of coloring we may have another sandy hued kid ala Kinsey.
Bring on the bibs the drooling has reached a new level. Since Clark refuses to take a paci he’s also slime-ing his hands so they always feel cold and clammy lol.
The cooing, babbling and smiles are constant. It makes my heart want to burst and my cheeks hurt from smiling. These are the best moments.
Kinsey has totally surpassed the Best Sister Award, the girl is a little mommy. She will talk to Clark to calm is crying, hold him in her arms, everything. They have such a sweet bond. Brielana is less gentle but her heart is in the right place as she coos and talks to him throughout the day. Either way he gives his sisters thee biggest smiles and all is right in the world.
