Happy Father's Day, Brian!

There aren't many guys out there who openly admit that they wanted daughters over sons. There aren't many guys out there who share their feelings and wear their hearts on their sleeves. And there aren't many guys who enjoy Disney movies before having children. To say I'm lucky to have married that guy is a pale comparison to the daughters who get to
call that guy "Daddy".
Brian has taken to being a Girl Dad like a pro. From that first ultrasound that confirmed the dream I had that we were expecting a daughter back in 2010, to picking out Kinsey's name, to crying when she was born in February of 2011; I have had the great pleasure of watching my best friend transform into a caring father.
And then we got to do it all over again in 2014! Going from one daughter to two was when I really saw Brian blossom. He ultimately took over the care of Kinsey during those early newborn days when I was up nights with Brielana. Those two have a very special relationship, the term "Daddy's Girl" was penned just for Kinsey, I swear! Neither Brian or myself have had the closest relationships with our own father's so seeing Brian with our daughters is nothing short of amazing.
Brian's specialties include wrestling matches, spoiling them rotten, and giving the best goodnight tuck-ins, complete with two stories and a cuddle. He is having more fun sharing old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles episodes with Kinsey and Micheal Jackson songs with Brielana, our little music lover. He brings laughter and fun the kind only daddy's know how to share and we are so lucky that he is ours!
