One of my most favorite specialty shops for maternity clothing is Pinkblush. The first time I discovered this online boutique was back in 2013. I wasn't pregnant at the time but I vowed to return when I was.

Stitch Fix #9 // Birthday Fix

Untitled
The 2nd was my birthday (34, if you're curious) so I decided to gift myself a Fix! This coupled with Fall being the best fashion I had double the motivation. As always I requested my girl Cass M and she worked her magic! Affiliate links used. A small commission may be received if you purchase an item through my links with no extra cost to you. Let me preface this post with a little background story. I have wanted a kimono since forever. Like 2014, just-had-Brielana, forever. Pretty sure that was also the height of the kimono craze but I digress. It's been a long time coveted closet item and let me tell you, it's been totally worth the wait.

Stitch Fix #8 Spring Refresh

Guys. My house has been under quarantine. Or at least it feels like it was. I had promised to share this amazing Fix last week but poor Kinsey had an ear infection and a cough that seriously wiped her out. Thankfully she is well again and so here I am! Thank you for bearing with me :)

Stitch Fix #7 {sweater weather}

As contemplated last Fix, I did request Cass M. and I am 100% positive she is my new go to. So I guess you can say its pretty serious between us now, haha. We are deep in Winter here so I was all about that sweater weather when I filled out my Notes. I wasn't disappointed either! It's also good to note that all but one was a new-to-me Brand which really gets me excited. Affiliate links used. Stitch Fix #6 {the five piecer}

I enjoyed my sixth Fix over the weekend and it was the box I've been dreaming about. I easily could have kept all five pieces- that has never happened to me before! Not one to be frivolous though I kept myself in check and if you're curious about what I got, just keep scrolling! Affiliate links used. Five Reasons why NOW is the time to try Stitch Fix

I have been a member of Stitch Fix for over two years now. Granted, I only average one box for every three to six months, but I feel like the company has come leaps and bounds over the last few months and if you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon yet, I'm here to tell you why now is the time to do so.

My first thredUP Goody Box

My first thredUP Goody Box
A couple of weeks ago I got an email from thredUP about a new Goody Box initiative they were implementing. The premise is easy, fill out a quick questionnaire and receive 8-10 pieces of clothing sent directly to your door. You get a week to try on and decide and what you don't want send back with a prepaid label. Intriguing, right?

Summer 10X10 Capsule // Final Week 2

Well, I'm a lil embarrassed to say this post is a few days late! But sometimes the sunshine calls and a family adventure awaits, so things don't get published ;)  So how did I do on this 10X10 challenge? Not that great. And I'm not afraid to admit it! Being pregnant comes with it's own special circumstances and this mama didn't account for growth, haha. Let's get to the outfits and then a breakdown of my shortcomings, er, roundcomings? Affiliate links used. A small commission may be received if you purchase an item through my links. Thank you for supporting my blog!

Look Six:
I picked my items just to wear this combo! And I love it!
Graphic tee + pregnancy maxi + Converse
Look Seven:
I've worn this outfit over the course of my pregnancy and it is comfy and cute (if I do say so myself.)
Kimono + maternity tank + ponte pants + Converse
Look Eight:
Blame this on being lazy but I just couldn't muster a picture. Another favorite combo.
Chambray top + maternity dress + Converse
Look Nine:
An outfit that didn't match the weather. It was forecasted to be 64 and overcast, it was 70 without a cloud in the sky and I was sweating. We also had a park playdate so I got sunburned, whomp whomp. And I literally feel like I have to hold up this bump at 34 weeks.
Chambray top + black tank + ponte pants + Converse
Look Ten:
And here's where I messed up because the outfit I was planning on wearing, didn't fit anymore, sigh. My graphic tee just won't fit over the baby bump and no amount of creative layering was going to save that look.

Takeaway:
I will most definitely do this challenge next season! I love finding new ways to mix and match my closet and since I'll be postpartum it'll be a whole new game.

If I was to repick my items for this challenge I would have swapped out my graphic tee for my black and white striped tee but the top over dress wouldn't have been an option and that was my favorite look!

Only having one pair of shoes to work with was easy when getting dressed but I most definitely missed having options. Plus, Converse just aren't the most comfortable on my feet. And how do you keep them clean?! Seriously, let me know your secret!

Summer 10X10 Capsule // Week 1

Summer 10X10 Capsule // Week 1
I made it through week one of the Summer 10X10 Capsule Challenge! I act like this is such a big accomplishment but in reality it was easy (this week, we'll see how week 2 fares.) I love all my pieces and feel comfortable wearing them interchangeably. So let's see what I paired together! Affiliate links used. A small commission may be received if you purchase an item through my links. Thank you for supporting my blog!

Look One:
I did make a switch (denim jacket for chambray top) this day as it was cooler than forecasted but it all worked out.
Gray maternity maxi + denim + Converse
Summer 10X10 Capsule // Week 1
Look Two:
Forgive the grainy mirror selfie, I was feeling lazy. Oh! And apparently I went with my skinny jeans instead of the flares so I've updated the shopping widget below!
Black tank + kimono + skinny jeans + Converse
Summer 10X10 Capsule // Week 1
Look Three:
Chambray + white maternity tank + ponte pants + Converse
Summer 10X10 Capsule // Week 1
Look Four:
Maternity maxi dress + Converse.
Summer 10X10 Capsule // Week 1
Look Five:
I was feeling very Joanna Gaines in this denim on denim look :)
Chambray top + white maternity tank + skinny jeans + Converse.
Summer 10X10 Capsule // Week 1
And that's week 1! I'll share week 2's looks and recount my journey next week! There's still time to join Caroline for the Summer 10X10 Challenge! More info here.

My closet staple for Summer ft. Liam's Loft {Instagram Giveaway}

It should come as no surprise what my Summer staple item is this pregnancy. But in case you don't, it's a breezy, forgiving, maxi dress! I've been living in them since about May (weather permitting) and will never apologize for being comfortable and looking put together. So, if maxi dresses aren't your thing, I pity you. Just kidding. Sorta.
My closet staple for Summer ft. Liam's Loft {Instagram Giveaway}
This tee shirt maxi from Liam's Loft is pure heaven. It is a soft jersey material, it flows over my bump and has a cute rounded hem and two small slits (that make styling with a quick knot so easy) and bonus, there's pocketsBut the very best part was I looked put together when I was basically wearing a nightgown (it's that comfortable.)

And here is the very best news, I'm giving away one of these darling tee shirt dresses over on Instagram! It comes in 10 different colors and the fit is meant to be oversized so I'm actually wearing a regular size Small (that also may be why I love it so much ;) So skip on over to Instagram and enter to win!  Winner announced on Thursday. Good luck!

Summer 10x10 Capsule // Pregnancy edition

Summer 10x10 Capsule // Pregnancy edition
I've wanted to join Caroline's 10x10 Challenge since last season and finally have the chance to jump on the Summer capsule challenge! A quick summary of the 10x10 challenge- pick 10 total items (tops, bottoms and shoes) and wear them over the next ten days and share how it went! More in depth details hereAffiliate links used. A small commission may be received if you purchase an item through my links. Thank you for supporting my blog!

Now, I'm going to say this wasn't such a stretch since I've been wearing basically the same maternity clothes on repeat anyway, but only wearing 10 pieces intrigued me. Any way to make getting dressed easier, I'll take it!

We're having a cool summer (bless it. Though the occasional warm front blows in and then I'm useless.) so I picked a classic black/white/gray/denim palette, with lots of layering potential for those cooler days.

My Items:

Fingers crossed the weather stays cool so I can stay comfortable!
