O Christmas Tree, how lovely are your branches // Ornament Exchange

I had so much fun participating in this Ornament Exchange! Not only do I adore all the lovely hosts but I was paired with one of my favorites, Crystal! I couldn't have asked for a better partner (or friend. Even though we've never met I definitely count her as friend.) Her thoughtful ornaments are so special to me and I will cherish them every year when I dress up the Christmas tree.

Crystal and I didn't give each other many guidelines because I feel like we know each other enough to wing it and yup, I was right. Crystal sent me not one but two ornaments and they are both totally me! In her note, Crystal explained that she choose the ruby slippers because she knew the girls and I are Oz fans (let me direct you here for picture proof.)

Crystal also chose a Willow Tree ornament because it is teacher oriented and she went on to compliment my teaching which was so sweet of her! I don't even think she knows I collect Willow Tree but I have myself a sweet collection going and that really touched my heart because my gramma started it for me and Brian has kept it growing; what an awesome gift. 

And of course this wouldn't be a proper ornament exchange if you didn't see these beauties on the tree!

Stocking Stuffer Exchange reveal!

Today is the day we get to share the goodies we got from the Stocking Stuffer Exchange! Jess, Amy and I have been eagerly awaiting this day for months. I was paired with Jessica of The Newly and I had such a fun time shopping for her! 

Jessica sent me such a sweet and girly package! I'm a huge sucker for socks and these fuzzy reindeer socks gave me all the warm and fuzzies! I've been wanting to try to wear lip color so this lip stain is the perfect way to dip my toe in, so to speak. And these coasters? 

L-O-V-E. Give me all the gold. And pink. And aqua. Jessica, you did such a great job in pampering me, thank you lady!

Scarf Reveal Day // Second Annual Fall Scarf Exchange 2016

Happy Scarf Exchange Day!!! Thank you for joining Courtney, Elizabeth and me for the Second Annual Fall Scarf Exchange! I'm so excited to see what lovely scarves everyone got because you can never have too many and Christmas is coming up...;)

The happiest package ever.

First off, I was partnered with the amazing Desiree and pretty much struck gold in the partner's department. Go check out her blog to see what I got her (I was off my blogging game and didn't snap a teaser picture, oops.)

Desiree got me the prettiest plaid jewel-toned blanket scarf, ever! I basically just want to cuddle under this day and night. I have worn it three times already since I got it in the mail so that evens out to be once per week!

In her note she specifically said she pictured me pairing this with my chambray shirt and so I obliged ;)
