My favorite natural cleaner {DIY}

When I "downsized" my cleaning products in favor of all natural and to reduce our exposure to toxic ingredients I ended up with a very pared down arsenal of supplies. Thankfully these basic pantry staples pull double duty by making cleaning easy and super affordable. As soon as I was well enough I cleaned everything with this simple mixture and rested well knowing the germs were eradicated and that my family wasn't subjected to harmful fumes and chemicals. Affiliate links used. Child friendly spray cleaner:
1/4 cup vinegar
1/2 teaspoon liquid soap
3/4 cup warm water

Combine everything in a glass spray bottle. Shake to combine. Spray the area generously (3-4 spritz per foot) and wipe with a clean cloth. Indefinite shelf life. Just shake to recombine before each use!

Four basic ingredients for less toxic cleaning:
Baking soda [neutralizes acid odors]
Liquid castille soap, like Dr Bronner's
Distilled white vinegar [neutralizes alkaline odors]
Antiseptic Essential Oils [lemon, tea tree, sweet orange, clove, lavender, eucalyptus, peppermint, just to name a few]

Natural Cleaning supplies:
Flour sack towels
