Summer Salsa // flavors of the season {family recipe}

This fresh, garden salsa is a family favorite. I've already made it twice in June. My Gramma was inspired by my Papa's overactive tomato garden and an obliging pantry. Bonus points for this being a low waste recipe, for those of you who are into that kind of thing🙂

Joanne's Summer Salsa

a pint+ Cherry tomatoes, quartered
1 can fire roasted Ortega chili peppers, juice included
2 cloves Garlic, minced
1/4 cup yellow onion or 3 stalks green onion, diced (or both!)
bunch of Cilantro, chopped
Lime juice from half a lime
Salt & pepper to taste

Mix all ingredients together and let sit (as long as you can stand) for flavors to meld.
Serve with chips or on top of tacos. Enjoy!
