What Kinsey Wore: Cowboy Party

Saturday Kinsey and I celebrated a friend's son's birthday at the local Equestrian Center.  It was out in the sticks so the term "local" applies loosely.  I'm a nervous driver; like I always do the posted speed limit, both hands on the wheel, cry if i think I'm lost, nervous driver.  Basically, I drive like a granny.  So I gave myself an hour to get to a place I've never been to before and only had one mishap (thank you dog walkers for the directions!) and got there early to help my friend set up.

The venue provided the animals for a petting zoo, pony rides and picnic tables. Jennifer, my friend and Birthday boy's mom, brought everything else. It was the perfect day for a party! The weather was on its best behavior and the baby animals were to die for.

Kinsey played with her friend Lyvia; these two cutie pies are three weeks apart and have known eachother since in utero lol.

And I got to hang out with some wonderful adult friends including Lyvia's mom, Jessica.  (I have known Jennifer and Jessica since my Gap glory days- 9 years ago-Jess was my favorite manager and Jennifer is actually the one who inspired me to be a Preschool teacher, so lots of love for these two ladies!)

20x20 Style Challenge

Early Celebration

I am so thankful I got the day off from work to spend with Kinsey.  We went to our favorite place, the Aquarium for an early Birthday celebration. It was a perfect visit; not too busy, wonderful weather, and I got to spend the day with this cutie.  Our day in pictures:
