Holiday Goodies with UnCommonGoods {plus a giveaway!}

Let me just say I was beyond giddy when UncommonGoods reached out to me and wanted to collaborate! This company is super cool and I have had so much fun browsing their inventory.

A little bit about UncommonGoods. It was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York (major cool points, am I right?!) Not only does it pay it's lowest seasonal worker 50% above minimum wage but CEO Dave Bolotsky is passionate about a fair minimum wage for all. The majority of the products sold at UncommonGoods also supports artists who create unique, handmade items, most of which are made here in the United States. And one third of those items incorporate recycled and/or upcycled materials (we all know how I love upcycling!)

Best of all UncommonGoods started the nonprofit Better to Give; for every purchase made $1 goes to the charity of the buyers choice (charities include RAINN, American Forests, International Rescue Committee and Reach Out & Read). Since Better to Give's induction 12 years ago it has donated $1Million world wide! Now that's buying power!

So on to the goodies! These gems caught my eye but you'll have to check out UncommonGoods yourself because there are so many wonderful gift ideas!

So basically these are all things I want for myself. I mean, how lovely are these?! That literary scarf combines two of my favorite things- scarves and text from the novel Jane Eyre. And I've always wanted a family print done! Click the link for more gift ideas for her!

I may have gone a bit "beard heavy" but when you're married to a bearded man, you start to appreciate the beard's subtle beauty ;) Also, it just makes me laugh how popular beards are these days. I think the bristle-less grill brush is genius (I'm scarred for life about ingesting a bristle and having it pierce my colon- anyone else see that "Monster Inside Me" episode?!) You can find more great gift ideas for him here!
