The Spirit of God Illustrated Bible {a review}

I received this book for review purposes but all opinions are my own. Thanks to ZonderKidz for sponsoring this post.
The Spirit of God Illustrated Bible {a review}

Since our move, one of our bigger Family decisions has been to find a Church home. It has been such a huge blessing to find a place where our whole family feels welcomed and well tended to. It's even more amazing to see the awe and wonder in my daughters as they begin their own spiritual journey to know Christ.

Brielana has actively started asking what day it is and if it's "church day". She gets so excited when its actually Sunday. Though she isn't reading independently yet, having a Bible of her own was very important to her (since Kinsey had one and all, you know how that goes; Monkey see, monkey do. This is probably the one time I can say it didn't bother me in the least, ha.) When ZonderKidz reached out to me to review their newest children's illustrated bibles, I couldn't say yes fast enough.

The very first thing that caught my eye are the gorgeous illustrations. Fernando Juarez did such a beautiful job bringing moments of scripture to life with his drawings and watercolors. Just stunning. The text is simple but powerful, Doris Rikkers does a great job of succinctly capturing the heart of the gospel.

This would make a beautiful gift for a first communion or just to give in general. I mean, just look at those illustrations! We love to read a few pages before bedtime as part of our nightly routine.

  1. I love that you guys have found a church and the kids get excited about going! Mason does the same thing, “is it a church day?” This Bible looks amazing and captivating!
