We took advantage of being out in Bentonville for some doctor appointments last week to stop by 8 Street Market and Bogle Park. Playing Tourists in our new State and surrounding cities has been so much fun!
8 Street Market is like a very, very, very small scale Pike Market; there are a handful of food vendors- inside and out, a couple of local gifts vendors, a chocolatier shop, a burger place with a shuffle board court and the local junior college's culinary program's test kitchens.
It was smack dab in the middle of lunch rush when we arrived so I wasn't able to get many pictures indoors. We also had to wait forty minutes for our food and half our order was cancelled due to running out of ingredients but it was still a fun experience.
We stopped at Markham and Fitz for some chocolate truffles. It smelled heavenly. We basically wanted one of everything.
On the way out the giant chair was beckoning. I'm pretty sure the kiddos could have stayed and played on this all day but we bribed them with a (quick!) visit to Bogle Park to get some energy out.
Bogle Park is a few blocks away from the Market and one of our favorite pocket green spaces. The flowers are just gorgeous and we've always had the place to ourselves to run around (and take pictures, naturally.)
We had just enough time to snap these before it started to rain. I may have chose the wrong day to wear sandals but I was so comfortable in this fabulous chambray jumpsuit from Pinkblush. Calling on long-torso ladies- this is the jumpsuit for you! I usually stay away from one pieces of any kind because of riding up but the straps on this are adjustable (or take them off completely and change up the look!) Everyone needs this in their closet.
We've reached the midpoint of our summer vacation, how's it going for you?
