Stitch Fix #9 // Birthday Fix

Untitled
The 2nd was my birthday (34, if you're curious) so I decided to gift myself a Fix! This coupled with Fall being the best fashion I had double the motivation. As always I requested my girl Cass M and she worked her magic! Affiliate links used. A small commission may be received if you purchase an item through my links with no extra cost to you. Thank you for supporting my blog!

It was look at first sight. And then I tried it on. The rust color which I love, didn't flatter my skin tone and oddly reminded me of a fawn. Oddly enough, I didn't get a picture of me wearing it. Returned

Max Studio Joanie Tie Hem Top | $58 {medium}

The only thing I like about this top is the golden hue. Everything else was a no. I added my own scarf to try and rescue this sad top. Returned

Brian was really into this top; he is the plaid flannel expert after all and he also said it was giving him Christmas-y vibes but I think I don't like button downs anymore. They feel restrictive and I don't think they flatter my long torso. That being said, this was a very soft flannel. ReturnedUntitled

This sweater gave me life. Everything about it was glorious. The color was more on the rust side and it was a soft, beautiful knit. It fit perfectly. So why didn't I keep it, you ask? I have a sweater that is almost exactly the same that I love fully and I just can't commit to another. It's not you, it's me. Returned

I absolutely adored this top. I don't have any hunter green in my closet and I'm trying to rectify that. This was everything I had hoped for, a great color, plaid, and a fun tie hem detail. It was also another soft shirt! But I couldn't move my arms without baring my midriff and mama don't roll that way. Long torso problems are to blame. Returned

I mean. How fantastic is this outfit?!?! I could just cry.

So if you're keeping track that is a 0/5 Fix. And because of that, Stitch Fix so generously waived my next Fix and it's due to arrive next week! I scrapped Fall stuff since I also went on an Old Navy birthday shopping trip and fulfilled my needs on that front. I requested some graphic tees and cozy clothes perfect for lounging in this winter!

  1. Everything looked adorable on you, of course! But, I understand the reasons you returned them and would have done the same. I can't wait until the next fix arrives. I hope you'll blog it!

  2. I really dig your booties. I like that Green Front Tie Top but would return it for the same reason you did.
