4 Month Bump Update

Getting pregnant after a miscarriage is exhilarating and a little scary at the same time; so my husband and I decided to wait until after the first trimester was over to share our good news with Family and friends.  Having to stay mum on the subject at work, especially when I went through a crazy week of migraines (I actually had to use my lunchbox as a receptacle for throw up while driving to work one morning.  So pleasant.) and having to call in a couple of days, was tricky but guarding my heart and my baby was well worth it.  And now I can safely and joyfully share our peanut's progress!

How Far Along: 14 weeks:: Fourth Month::2nd Trimester
Size of Baby: Baby #2 is the size of a lemon
Total Weight Gain: 2 pounds since last Doctor's visit 3 weeks ago
Maternity Clothes: Shirts on occasion, luckily I am able to button up my jeans again after an uncomfortable month of bloat and having to rubber band them closed hehe
Gender: We will find out February 12th!
Movement: I know its early but I suspect I felt the baby hiccup on Christmas (must have been all the food I consumed lol)
Sleep: Not so good; I have morning sickness at night like clockwork, bed time rolls around and I get acid stomach.  But once I fall asleep its good, until I have to get up to go to the bathroom (twice a night but down from 3 so its progress.)
What I Miss: My energy! And my patience.  That saying "You don't know what you've got til its gone" is beyond true.  Please come back soon!
Cravings: I have no food cravings or aversions this pregnancy which I find very comforting.  But I do enjoy microwave popcorn and pretzels to calm my stomach. And water.  LOTS of water.
Symptoms: Nightly morning sickness, bloating, slight dizziness, and random ear popping.
Highlight of the Month: Sharing this bump update with you!
