I only recently got into podcasts late last year and seriously wonder what the heck I was doing during my driving commutes without them! I get so much enjoyment and entertainment from listening to these lovely ladies that it almost makes me want to drive around town more (so kidding.) Here are my favorite podcasts for mamas by mamas.
Hosted by Sarah and Meagan this was one of the first podcasts I listened to and loved. This show was the catalyst for the Life,Listened network and the parent show to the Home Hour and more.
Episodes to listen:
Sarah from the Mom Hour was a guest and that’s what brought me over. I did not know about the Coffee + Crumbs blog or book prior but have read both now! Lesley, April and Ashlee host and are IRL friends so the conversation flows freely. Sadly, Lesley just left the show (sob!) and I am patiently awaiting season 2.
Episodes to listen:
Emily is a breath of fresh air; from her humor to her grace, she makes motherhood struggles feel doable and less stressful. She’d be in my mom tribe, for sure.
Episode to listen:
Katie is my health guru, she is awesome. She also has the greatest voice I could listen to her for hours. I was introduced to Plant Therapy essential oils through her podcast and will forever be grateful.
Episodes to listen:
Janet Lansbury is a child development expert and her short segments (no more than 20 minutes tops) are devoted to taking a senario of a “bad behavior” and breaking it down to why and how. She makes parenting encouraging and empowering.
Episodes to listen:
Allie is the powerhouse behind Declutter like a Mother (which I am currently doing and it is AWESOME!) and the course Your Uncluttered Home. She is tell-it-like-it-is, hilarious and motivating. I also enjoy her blog.

Any podcasts I should check out? Leave your suggestions in the comments, I’m always eager to find new favorites! Thanks!
Some great suggestions!! Will have to check so,e of these out!
ReplyDeleteI need to check these out! I've only listen to true crime podcasts so these would be something more appropriate for my Mom life.
ReplyDeleteI seriously needed this. ALL of my podcasts (it's an embarrassing number) are true crime, and I've been on the hunt for something a little lighter.
ReplyDeleteI've encountered a couple of these, but I like having more ideas! I've heard a couple of people like The Mom Hour but I've never listened, so I think it's about time for that. The parenting one that I like right now is The Longest Shortest Time - they have a really good recent series on women in the workplace that I highly recommend!
