Our first Christmas in NWA is in the books. It was a bittersweet celebration as we make our own traditions here in Arkansas away from our California Family but I have to keep reminding myself new and different isn't bad and to enjoy the process.
I mean <3 Just look at his face! |
It looked like a slow, quiet Christmas morning as we waited for Brielana to wake up.
We ate the Pioneer Woman’s french toast bake, sipped mimosa’s and coffee after all the gifts were unwrapped and then settled in with our new toys.
I got the prime couch seat with an armrest and began to read Chasing Slow as the girls played with makeup and hair chalk (how old are they again?! Good heavens!) and Clark took a midday nap.
We had Christmas dinner at Aunt Cindy’s and it was delicious. Nothing is better than good food + company.
The girls ended up staying up way too late as we watched the last of the Christmas movies.
Hoping you had a wonderful Christmas!
