Growing up Clark // eight month edit

I feel like Clark has made a huge leap from seven to eight months; he's so active, will not (can not) sit still, is crawling all over creation, and is starting to pull himself up on all the things. It takes my all to supervise the kid. He literally keeps me on my toes! Affiliate links used. A small commission may be received if you purchase an item through my links with no extra cost to you. weight: 19 pounds, guesstimate
height: 29 inches, guesstimate

Sleep has been such a battle. Between teething (he has two bottom teeth) and that dreaded sleep regression, naps have been few, only 30 minutes (wahhh) and far between. I feel like this week we've finally gotten a handle on the 30 minute intruder and now I'm crossing everything that a better night time sleep is just ahead.

Because of the teething he has been extra soothe nursing and the added nutrients has showed up in the form of chubbier cheeks. It is all I can do to keep from squeezing them 24/7. But perhaps I do anyway?

Speaking of teeth, those two little pearls have made Clark's smile that much cuter. I didn't think it was possible but he sure is proud to show them off and it shows in his big cheesy grin.

The sensitive skin issues that cropped up during the introduction of BLW has subsided. I thank BeautyCounter's baby balm for helping soothe the rash. Some favorite foods include quesadillas, Happy Baby puffs and blueberries. He was also digging into some Shepard's pie the other night, too.Growing up Clark // eight month edit
Clark is wearing 9-12 month clothes and is working up to a size 3 in shoes.

We're getting to that point when I start to think about a First Birthday theme. I know, I need help (figuratively and literally haha)

Chicco 360 Hook On Chair- to save space we got this hook on chair and it is awesome!
Hanna Andersson sleepers- I'm super partial to stripes and these are so soft and comfy.
Sophie la Girafe- gotta aide those sore gums.
Baby balm- love this cream! And if you need a great consultant, I just happen to know one
Happy Baby puffs- the perfect size for little fingers and helps develop that coveted pincer grasp.
Milkmakers Lactation Bars- I haven't noticed a drop in supply but I like cookies and these couldn't hurt, plus they taste delicious! With lactogenic ingredients like brewer's yeast, oats, flax and chia seeds, these are a treat you can feel good about indulging. And the best part is, I don't have to share ;)  Thank you Milkmakers for the sample, all opinions are my own!

  1. He is getting so big and looking more like a toddler! Maybe it's because of all that hair! It's funny how most babies love Sophie!
