This past Saturday, we celebrated Kinsey's 4th birthday with a Wonderland themed Tea Party. I had a bunch of fun planning and decorating for her party, and thankfully, it was a big hit!
My favorite touch was the tea cart set up with the tea cup favors (everyone got one. We thirfted all the tea cups from Goodwill and antique shops from around town.)
I made tea sandwiches and had nibbles and decorated the cupcakes with sprinkles, mini cards and fondant roses. There was Pin the Grin on the Cheshire cat and Painting nee coloring, the Roses Red for activities. The weather played games with me so we could have had a lot more to do outside but I played it safe just in case that "imminent storm" chanced upon us- but didn't :(.
I suggested on the invitations to wear costumes fit for Wonderland and a few friends and my brother and his girlfriend dressed up. It made the day that much more festive! And then there was the time I dressed up like the Queen of Hearts and ended up looking like Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum... #epicfail.
I know Kinsey had a wonderful time, she was pooped at the end of the day. And I'm already thinking about next year's bash. She said she wanted to go to the beach(!) so we shall see...
So cute!!! Love an Alice & Wonderland theme! Great job! :)
