Festive Muddy Buddies plus Christmas Cash Giveaway!

Muddy Buddies.
Puppy Chow.
Whatever you call these chocolate, sweet goodies, they are delicious!

Confession: this is my first time ever making Muddy Buddies. I don't know why it's taken me so long but now that I have this definitely won't be my last. I've swapped out the peanut butter for Cookie butter, because why not? And added some fall-hued M&Ms and sprinkles for a festive kick.

Festive Muddy Buddies
A yummy twist on the classic Muddy Buddies recipe.
Ingredients
  • 9 cups Chex cereal
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup cookie butter
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup M&Ms
Instructions
1. measure out 9 cups of Chex cereal into a large bowl and set aside
2. In a microwaveable bowl add the chocolate chips, cookie butter and butter and microwave for 1 minute. Stir and return to microwave for 30 seconds.
3. Add vanilla extract to chocolate mixture and stir. Pour mixture over Chex cereal and mix gently.
4. Add chocolate cereal to a ziplock bag and add powdered sugar. Shake to coat and let cool. Add M&Ms or any other mix-ins. Enjoy!
5. Can be stored in a covered container in the fridge up to four days though they won't last that long. Just saying.
