Reading//The Secret Keeper: A Novel
by Kate Morton. After Stephanie's rave review I was so excited to see this book in my Free Little Library! The only reason I haven't finished it yet is time; I've been setting up my classroom and battling a killer cold so, no time for leisure. I will say that Morton has a fantastic writing style and that the story goes between the present day (2011) and 1941 seamlessly.

Decorating// My Preschool classroom has gotten the most attention this past week. It's taken me a bit longer to set it up (I guess two years out of the loop really has taken it's toll lol) but it's been fun. But tiring.
To-do listing// I still have a few things I want to do in my classroom, the top item being getting some green plants. As odd as that sounds, greenery really adds a soothing and natural vibe.
Girl, I'm excited for fall too! And you always look so amazing in stripes! I love your clothes so much.

ReplyDeleteYou wear stripes better than anyone I know friend. I was this close to picking up that exact same tank I think (assuming it was from Target). Your kids are gonna be so dang lucky to have you as their teacher.
ReplyDeleteSo every time Mila has seen the preview for Goosebumps, she goes nuts and wants to see it. She's normally not one to get scared (her favorite movie is The Nightmare Before Christmas) but I'm torn on whether to let her watch this or not. What's your opinion - too much for a 3 year old?

Those STRIPES! Yes. Give me all of them. Along with a healthy dose of fall weather (even though I'm totally aware it won't feel like fall here until about January... >eye roll emoji<).
