Bath time with Spongelle + Craft

Bath time is a big deal in our house. Between the toys, bubbles and splashing, baths can last f-o-r-e-v-e-r. Put fun AND functional together and you have the perfect combination! When Spongelle  offered to let us try their new Sponge Animals Body Wash Infused Sponges, I couldn't pass up the opportunity.
Spongelle

Spongelle's Sponge Animals are Hypoallergenic & dermatologist tested, sulfate-free, paragon-free, and cruelty-free; nothing harmful on children's sensitive skin! They also smell fresh and fruity and lather up wonderfully. They left Kinsey's skin feeling soft and the bathroom smelled great all day, a wonderful and unexpected bonus.

But I'll leave it to Kinsey to give her review in her own words: I liked the smell it was like pear and vanilla ice cream. The sponge was kinda scratchy but it made me feel soft. It's (the butterfly-shaped sponge) pretty and pink!

I also like finding multiple uses for things (it's the Preschool Teacher in me, what can I say?) and these sponges made great stampers, just add paint!

Spongelle is also offering a 20% off discount for you to use!  Enter  "BBLOGGER20" at check out at www.spongelle.com now through October 19th.  Try them out and tell me how much fun your child had using them! The sponges come in other fun shapes including a duck, dog and fish.

Happy Bathing!

  1. What? How cute are those. So a sponge with soap already on them? Does it only last one wash? Can you use it more like a washcloth after the soap is gone?

  3. Hi Whitney,

Just wanted to stop by and say how much we adore this DIY project!! So cute!

To answer the above questions, we usually say that our sponges last a minimum of 14 washes guaranteed. For this Animal Sponge line we went with multi-use, because we can't guarantee how long your little ones will be playing with it in the bath. It can definitely be repurposed as a regular body sponge or even as a craft sponge!

    Adorable post :)

    Best Regards,

  4. What an awesome sponge! And how fun that you turned it into a stamp! We have several bath sponges that no longer hold the appeal that they first did. We may have to turn them into stamps, too!
