My Must Have Preschool Teacher Supplies

My Must Have Preschool Teacher Supplies

My Must Have Preschool Teacher Supplies by work-it-mommy

I shared our HomeSchool progress on Tuesday and it put me in the back-to-school mood. (I have more fun buying myself back-to-school items!  Anyone else?!) So I figured, I would share my favorite teaching products.  Without these items at my disposal I don't know how I would stay organized.  And if I'm being honest, I wouldn't have half as much fun prepping lessons :)

I do a lot of arts and crafts with Kinsey and having construction paper, glue sticks, and good scissors makes it more enjoyable.  And a handy ruler helps with those geometric shapes I can't draw to save my life.

But hands down my most invaluable item is my Laminator.  And now that I have found such a great deal on thermal pouches (thanks, Amazon!) I will be stocking up.

Note-taking and lesson planning are best done in a pretty notebook and I use index cards for everything from making flash cards to using as bookmarks.  I used to write down the names of my students and their parents on one and memorize it as my 'homework' that first week of school!

Do the Sharpie markers even need to be explained?!

What are your favorite back-to-school supplies?

  2. Love this!! Mia doesn't turn 3 until December so she has to wait a whole year for preschool, but she begs for it each day so I really want to start dedicating a little bit of time each day to a schooling activity with her at home! I need to start gathering ideas and prepping because I'll be a little out of it for the first month or two after baby boy arrives!

  3. School supply shopping was always my favorite thing! I LOVED stocking up on pens and markers - to make my planner pretty, and color coded. And I was so picky about my pencils (Ticonderoga pencils were the only ones I'd use)! I can't wait to start supply shopping for Marcus once he gets into grade school!!

  4. No need to explain the sharpies. I LOVE them and I'm not even a teacher! In fact I was just using one to write with. I like the thin ones :)
