Santa's Workshop 2015

Our neighborhood puts on a Santa's Workshop every year and we enjoyed last year's visit so much, we went again this year! Brian was able to join us this time and it was a fun little Family activity. I took very few pictures but I got some cute ones so I'm hoping that excuses me ;)

First stop at Santa's Workshop was visiting with the jolly elf himself. Last year, Brielana was all oblivious to what was going on and I got great pictures. This year, she took one look at him, burst into tears, calmed down and then tolerated the pictures for a minute before reaching out to me. Notice the red-rimmed eyes and detached expression? Hehe.
And last years comparison picture. My how they both have grown!
Our next stop was the ornament making station. I took mental notes so I can make more, paper strips, hole punch, glue, string. So cute!

Kinsey also decorated a cookie. She was very focused while spreading icing and I was silently encouraging her fine motor skills. Then of course the best part was eating it. Brielana agrees.

I didn't get a great picture of what Santa drove in on (and quite frankly don't even know what it's called) but our city has a small tank- like hummer and the kids got to "tour" it. I think Kinsey was less than impressed when she realized she couldn't take a ride around the block in it, haha.

  1. We always went to a Santa's Workshop when I was growing up too. It was so much fun. They don't do anything like that here which makes me sad. Looks like the girls had a blast! Impressed they like sitting on Santa's lap.

  3. What a fun visit with Santa. We hit up the mall to see the Jolly one. I'd love to find him somewhere we can make ornaments and cookies.

  12. How fun! I think tanks/army vehicles are Ez's last unexplored frontier as far as vehicles go, so that would've made his day. And the comparison from last year - so cute!! Can't believe how big they get in a year... :-/
